Congratulations to Rice D2K Lab faculty Arko Barman for receiving a U.S. patent granted for algorithms re-identifying persons using overhead view images.

 

"These algorithms are focused towards video surveillance using overhead fisheye cameras which have a wide field of view and are increasingly being used nowadays for surveillance," said Barman.
